Abbie ‘Pole-abs’ – Pole & Hoop Mumma
Originally a leroc, latin and ballroom dancer I started instructing at 15 and fell in love with teaching and being able to pass my knowledge on to those with similar passions. After 6 years of dancing and having opened a dance school with my Mum, Night & Day School of Dance, I took up pole fitness and knew straight away that one day I wanted to teach that too.
From my love of pole I started training in the gym to help increase strength then gradually became interested in other aerial skills as well as non-aerial such as contortion and acro.
Over time I progressed on to teaching aerial hoop, stretch and as I love learning am currently working towards my L4 NASM Corrective Exercise and L4 NASM Fitness Nutrition qualifications. Helping people build confidence as well as improving their physical and mental health is the most rewarding part of teaching.
Aerial really is for anyone; any age, any size, any gender. Why not give it a try?
